Kevin Costner can finally breathe a sigh of relief as a verdict has been reached in his long-standing divorce proceedings with his estranged wife, Christine Baumgartner. The outcome of the recent court ruling has given him a reason to wear a smile. According to the judge’s decision, Kevin will now be responsible for monthly child support payments of $63,000 to Christine, putting an end to their bitter dispute over financial responsibilities, reported by Daily Mail.

This figure represents a substantial reduction from the temporary support payments Kevin had previously been making, which amounted to a hefty $129,000 per month. Notably, Christine initially sought an even more substantial sum, requesting an astonishing $248,000 per month in child support.

Throughout this courtroom drama, Kevin and Christine engaged in heated debates and disagreements, with both parties firmly defending their positions.

Having already gone through a divorce and raising three children from his first marriage, Kevin found himself in a similar situation with Christine, with whom he also shares three children.

Christine’s initial request for $248,000 in monthly child support raised eyebrows, as Kevin argued that this amount was inflated due to his financial capacity. He contended that the actual financial needs of their children amounted to approximately $63,000 each month. Ultimately, the judge sided with Kevin’s assessment.
