It was announced that for the first time in her almost 70-year reign, Elizabeth will announce the appointment of a new prime minister, which should happen one of these days not at Buckingham Palace or even in Windsor. It was decided to hold this official ceremony at the Scottish Balmoral estate because the Queen, who had previously gone on vacation to Scotland, was unable to make a flight to London.
Later it became known that before Elizabeth went to Balmoral, for the first time in her life, some transformations had to be made there to make the queen’s stay there more comfortable, given the fact that it was becoming increasingly difficult for her to move. Therefore, an electric buggy was sent to Scotland so that she could take walks in the garden in it. In addition, a special orthopedic bed was also sent to Balmoral, on which the queen now has to sleep.
