Ben Affleck’s best friend, Matt Damon, was certain from the start that Ben would face issues in his marriage to Jennifer Lopez, according to insiders cited by the Daily Mail.
“Matt tried to warn Ben when he started dating J. Lo again that this might happen. Matt was there to help Ben pull himself together after their first breakup and felt it would happen again,” an insider said.
Damon advised Ben to focus on his work rather than Lopez’s projects.
When everything started falling apart, Matt told Ben that he supported any choice he made but wanted him to buckle down and focus on his work. Ben spent a lot of time focusing on J. Lo’s projects, just like the first time.
