Kanye West is haunted by a series of high-profile scandals. After the rapper’s ambiguous statements, many major brands refused to cooperate with him. Amid a wave of criticism against Kanye, Madame Tussauds Museum in London removed his wax figure. This is reported by The Guardian.
For the first time, a wax copy of the musician was presented at the museum in 2015. However, visitors opposed the rapper being part of the exhibition.
“Ye’s figure is no longer part of the exhibition and will now be in the archive. Everyone earns their place at Madame Tussauds. And we always listen to the guests and the public — they are the ones who say who they would like to see at the exhibition,” said the representative of the museum.
Recall that after the musician presented White Lives Matter T-shirts at Paris Fashion Week and allowed himself a number of incorrect statements, fashion houses and magazines broke off their partnership with him.
Kanye decided to hedge his bets and hired Johnny Depp’s lawyer. Now the rapper’s cases, as well as legal support for business collaborations, will be handled by Camilla Vasquez, who won the case against Amber Heard.
