Actress Uma Thurman admitted that the third part of the “Kill Bill” franchise will not appear in theaters in the near future. Her words are quoted by Deadline.
“I don’t see it [the film] on the horizon. And I hate to disappoint people. Everyone wants it to come out, but I think it won’t happen soon,” Thurman said.
Rumors about the sequel to “Kill Bill” have been going on for 15 years. Thurman, who played the main roles in the first two parts, said that the creators of the project seriously discussed the continuation of the cult saga.
In 2019, the director of “Kill Bill” Quentin Tarantino admitted that he plans to start work on the third part no earlier than 2022. He noted that the prequel will be different from the first two parts. Tarantino also stressed that he would not like to shoot “some ridiculous adventure.”
