43-year-old Meghan Markle, wife of Prince Harry, who has recently become quite active on social media, posted a rare photo on Instagram with her children—five-year-old Prince Archie and three-year-old Princess Lilibet. In the post, she also tagged the page of her lifestyle brand, As Ever.
In the photo, the Duchess of Sussex stands in a garden with her back to the camera. She holds her daughter in her arms, while her son hugs her leg from the side. The children’s faces are not visible, as they are turned slightly away from the camera.
“Every day is a love story,” reads the caption.
Just an hour after posting the image, she announced that she now has a “ShopMy page”—an online store where she plans to sell fashion items she promotes as part of a commercial deal.

The Duchess’s move has already sparked criticism
“Nothing happens by chance, and she would have thought this through, knowing that posting a photo of her children at the same time as launching her clothing line would attract maximum attention. The question arises: is Meghan exploiting her two children, who remain in line for the throne? I expect the Palace to disapprove of this,” royal author and journalist Phil Dampier said in an interview with The Sun.
Meanwhile, money and business coach Maddy Alexander-Grout believes that Meghan could earn millions from this and is likely to receive a commission on every sale.
“If you take the average number of her followers (2.6 million) and her level of engagement, I would estimate, based on her audience, that she will have thousands and thousands of people buying these items, making her a considerable amount of money. She will earn a decent sum based on clothing prices. If she gets, say, a 15% commission on a £128 shirt, she will earn £19.20. She will sell thousands of such shirts and could make at least £19,000 from a single linen shirt,” the expert explained.
Currently, the ShopMy website features 32 products “curated” by the Duchess, with “affiliate” links to brand websites. While some affordable items are available, such as a Uniqlo trench coat for $128, many are beyond the budget of the average shopper. Others highlight her royal connections or endorse ventures by her well-connected friends.
