Madonna continues to surprise her fans with her flamboyant acts. This time the diva visited a tattoo parlor – and not alone, but with her adopted 17-year-old son David. The singer has long been a follower of Kabbalists teachings, so the choice of tattoo fell on the Tree of Life – a popular symbol in Kabbalist’s culture. The Tree of Life is the embodiment of the higher man, who was created in the image and likeness of God.
Madonna also got another tattoo – a red “Maman” inscription on her wrist. The singer did not explain why she chose this word, but fans believe that there are two versions: either Madonna made the tattoo in honor of her mother, who died of cancer when the singer was 5 years old, or the artist calls herself that because she is a mother of many children. The pop diva has six children, four of which are adopted.
