The Saudi authorities will make an exception for Cristiano Ronaldo and allow him to live with his beloved Georgina Rodriguez despite the ban in the country, EFE reports.
Local law prohibits men, including visitors from other countries, from living under the same roof with unmarried girls, and Ronaldo and Rodriguez have not yet legalized the relationship, although the couple already have two children together, and they are raising three children Cristiano — twins Eva and Mateo and son Cristiano Jr.
A source told EFE that Georgina has two options to get a visa to stay in Saudi Arabia: either the Al Nassr Football Club will conclude any kind of cooperation with her, or she will apply for a tourist visa that allows her to stay in the country for 90 days uninterruptedly. Although diplomatic missions cannot issue a visa to an unmarried woman, in the case of Georgina, they will turn a blind eye to this.
The publication also notes that the Saudi Arabian police practically do not pursue foreign couples living together out of wedlock. The law prohibiting this is remembered in cases when a couple commits a crime.
Recall that the Portuguese striker signed a contract with the Al Nassr club at the end of 2022. Earlier, Ronaldo gave an interview with journalist Piers Morgan, in which he spoke negatively about his stay at Manchester United, complained about the management and the coach, and said that he did not respect the coach since he also did not respect him; said that the club was not developing and was far behind other top teams. Ronaldo also said that he did not receive proper support from his teammates after a personal tragedy — the death of his newborn son.
