Queen Elizabeth II, known for her keen understanding of human nature and unique style of “soft diplomacy,” hosted Donald Trump twice, in 2018 and 2019. In a new biography of the late Queen, excerpts published in the Daily Mail reveal her reflections on Donald and Melania Trump.

The Queen shared with friends that she found Donald Trump “very rude” and speculated that he probably has “some sort of arrangement” with his wife, Melania.

The book also mentions that the monarch was particularly annoyed by how Trump looked over her shoulder as if ‘in search of others more interesting’.

These claims come from seasoned journalist Craig Brown, whose book on the Queen’s life is based on numerous eyewitness accounts.

Brown, an upper-class member and an Eton graduate, wrote satirical pieces for many years for the well-known British magazine Private Eye, which specializes in scandals and satire. His new work on the Queen, like his previous biography of Princess Margaret, is an original blend of well-known stories and new material.

Brown writes that a few weeks after Trump’s visit, the Queen told a guest at dinner that she found the President “very rude.”

The Queen was particularly outraged by Trump’s habit of looking over her shoulder as if searching for someone more interesting. In Elizabeth’s view, Donald Trump likely “made some kind of deal” with his wife Melania; otherwise, why would she still be with him?

The sensational claims are made in an upcoming biography by Craig Brown, “A Voyage Around the Queen”.

Donald Trump said there was simply no truth to the allegations.

“It was false. I have no idea who the writer is, but it was just the opposite,” Trump said after a campaign rally in Asheboro, North Carolina.

“I heard I was her favorite president,” Trump told Daily Mail.

Ex-president has spoken respectfully of Elizabeth II on multiple occasions, first meeting her at Windsor Castle in 2018 and then during an official visit a year later.

Trump revealed that they spent hours together and had warmed to each other during their meetings.

“I had a great relationship with the Queen. She liked me and I liked her.”

In May 2023, during a candid conversation with former UKIP leader Nigel Farage on GB News, former U.S. President Donald Trump shared his views on the situation involving Meghan Markle and Queen Elizabeth II.

Trump also paid tribute to the late Queen, calling her “incredible.” He noted that the Queen ruled “years and decades without any disagreements.”

“Throughout the decades, she never made a mistake. I can’t remember any mistakes she made; she never caused any disputes.”

According to him, Prince Harry’s wife, Meghan Markle, “showed disrespect” to the Queen. He also criticized Markle for causing a rift between her husband and his family.

“I think Meghan behaved very disrespectfully towards the Queen. How can you treat the Queen like that?”.

Furthermore, he expressed surprise that Prince Harry was invited to the coronation of King Charles III, despite all the accusations he had made against the Royal Family.

In an interview with the British newspaper The Daily Express, Trump also stated that the royal family is too lenient with Harry, as is the current U.S. President, Joe Biden. They allegedly act magnanimously.

Trump hinted that he might deport Prince Harry if re-elected.

‘I won’t defend him. He betrayed the Queen. That cannot be forgiven. If it were up to me, he would be left to his own devices,’ the politician emphasized.
