In recent months, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have faced a series of failures. Rather than taking responsibility for these setbacks, they seem inclined to attribute blame elsewhere. According to a report by The Mirror, the couple has become consumed by the belief that a “secret Hollywood enemy” is behind their current predicament…
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are convinced that there is a coordinated campaign of animosity against them, both in the UK and the USA. This conviction gained momentum when the nominations for the prestigious Emmy Awards were announced.
Harry and Meghan were almost certain that victory was guaranteed for them, as the ratings of their Netflix documentary series, which aired in December 2022, were quite high.
However, to their dismay, their creation was not even recognized in the nominations. This disappointment led them to conclude “they were struck”, and that their “Hollywood enemies” were sabotaging their efforts.
What they were ‘rejected’ at the Emmys was just one of several failures that have befallen the royal couple recently. Among the most significant “blows” they suffered was the termination of their lucrative $20 million contract with the streaming service Spotify.
Even more disheartening, the couple faced a wave of severe criticism, including public critics by a podcast producer, who referred to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle as “a couple of slackers and grifters.” Also, their $98 million Netflix deal was “hanging in the balance”.
Despite these challenges, Meghan and Harry seem unwilling to reflect on their own contributions to the situation. Instead, they have become fixated on the idea of launching an investigation to uncover these alleged “secret enemies.”
While it is understandable that they may be disappointed and frustrated by recent events, a more constructive approach would be for the couple to reflect on their actions and decisions, seeking areas of improvement. Blaming “external forces” may not lead to the growth and progress they desire. Only by taking responsibility for their successes and failures, Meghan and Harry could potentially forge a more positive path forward.
