Footage reportedly shows the scandalous concertgoers kissing before being accidentally exposed by the band’s frontman, Chris Martin, TMZ reports.
Astronomer CEO Andy Byron and Chief People Officer Kristin Cabot were spotted embracing at the band’s concert in Boston. Byron was hugging Cabot when Chris Martin inadvertently revealed the office romance. The original video has already racked up millions of views online, but a new camera angle exposed the pair kissing.
A concertgoer, apparently seated behind the couple, filmed a video of Coldplay performing their hit Yellow. The glowing wristbands of fans can be seen, but according to the outlet, the scandalous couple was also in the frame.
The pair hugged each other, and at one point, the man leaned in to kiss the woman on the lips. This new angle appeared to capture a level of intimacy between the colleagues that hadn’t been broadcast to the entire stadium.
In the original viral video, a lip-reader claimed that the tech executive said, “Damn, that’s me,” when their faces appeared on the big screen.
Byron, who is married to Megan Kerrigan, resigned following the scandal. The company said in a statement:
“As previously noted, Astronomer is committed to the values and culture we have upheld since our founding. Our leaders are expected to set standards for both behavior and accountability, and recently this standard was not met. Andy Byron submitted his resignation, and the Board of Directors accepted it.”
