Renowned forensic pathologist Michael Baden, who was present at Jeffrey Epstein’s autopsy, claims that the billionaire’s death may not have been the result of suicide.
Dr. Michael Baden is convinced that Epstein could not have killed himself while behind bars and insists that the case be reviewed. Radar Online reported this.
The pathologist was hired by the controversial billionaire’s brother to examine the body and give his verdict on the true cause of Epstein’s death. Baden was present during the procedure, and his observations led him to conclude that the billionaire may have actually been “strangled.”
According to the publication, Michael Baden has 50 years of experience as a pathologist with the New York State Medical Board of Corrections. He investigated hundreds of prison suicides and considers the case of Jeffrey Epstein to be a “completely atypical” act of taking one’s own life.
“In my opinion, his death was most likely caused by strangulation, not hanging,” the doctor said in a new interview.
Baden himself did not perform the autopsy, but was present during the examination as an observer representing the Epstein family. He had the right to ask the doctor performing the autopsy for information about any additional incisions or tests that he deemed necessary. And although he believed that the information obtained required more time to study, Dr. Barbara Sampson announced a week after the examination that the billionaire had indeed committed suicide.

The pathologist eventually resigned from the Medical Examiner’s Office in 2023. However, the details surrounding the Epstein case that are now being revealed have led him to believe that the investigation into the circumstances of his death needs to be reviewed.
It is worth noting that this is not the first time that information about Epstein’s possible death under other circumstances has been circulating online. Recently, the Daily Mail reported that an unknown person entered the billionaire’s prison cell on the night of his death, casting serious doubt on the official version of events.
