Meghan Markle has returned to Instagram to present the trailer for her new Netflix documentary “With Love, Meghan”. This is the first major project focused solely on her.

In the video, 43-year-old Markle bakes cakes makes focaccia, serves ice cream to guests, tends to garden, and even puts on a beekeeper’s suit to visit the apiary.

The show highlights her lifestyle. Prince Harry and actress Mindy Kaling also appear in the trailer.

“I’ve always loved celebrating the little things, surprising people, connecting with friends, and learning something new. Love is in the details,” Meghan says in the trailer.

The show is set to premiere on January 15. However, reactions on social media have been mostly negative:

“This is the fakest thing I’ve ever seen.”

“It’s not even her house or garden. Everything is fake.”

Royal expert Dr. Tessa Dunlop told The Mirror:

“It’s far too easy to mock the perfect world Meghan portrays: famous friends, fresh food, flawless images. A show where one of the richest women in the world gives us ‘tips’ against the backdrop of designer beehives and a sun-dappled garden feels utterly out of reach for most people. It comes across as laughable.”

Let us remind you that the five-year contract of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex with Netflix, worth 80 million dollars, is coming to an end, and it seems that the streaming platform is dissatisfied with its results.

The only acknowledged success has been the Harry & Meghan series, released in December 2022. “With Love, Meghan” may be their attempt to turn things around.
