Irina Shayk has rekindled her relationship with former footballer and Gisele Bündchen’s ex-husband Tom Brady, a year after it was announced that they had split following a brief romance. This was reported by the Daily Mail, citing sources close to the couple.
However, the 48-year-old athlete and 39-year-old supermodel are in no hurry to officially announce their reunion, as their relationship is “casual.”
“Tom and Irina are on the same page: they are not looking for anything serious. They make time for each other when they can, and that’s it. Neither of them is seeing anyone else. If anyone asks, they are both officially single,“ explained the insider, adding that Brady and Shayk’s unusual romance is ”what suits them right now.”
“They get along well and enjoy spending time together. They are very busy, but they still communicate and try to meet up. Right now, this is what works for them,” he explained, noting that they are both “perfectly happy with the situation.”
Brady and Shayk’s relationship has been on and off since July 2023, when they first met at a mutual friend’s wedding in Italy (by that time, the athlete had already ended his professional career six months earlier).

Since then, the couple has fueled rumors of a relationship by periodically appearing together in public. In December of that year, they were photographed together in Miami, and just a month later, they were spotted having a romantic dinner in Manhattan. The couple’s last documented meeting was their date in New York in January 2024.
In 2022, seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady divorced supermodel Gisele Bündchen after 13 years of marriage. The couple has a 16-year-old son and a 13-year-old daughter, Vivian. Brady also has an 18-year-old son from a previous relationship. Bundchen, 45, is now in a relationship with 35-year-old jiu-jitsu coach Joaquim Valente, with whom she had a son last February. After his split from Bundchen, Brady has been romantically linked to Kim Kardashian, Brooks Nader, and Sofia Vergara.
Irina Shayk had a high-profile romance with Cristiano Ronaldo in the past. In 2015, she began dating Oscar nominee Bradley Cooper, with whom she had a daughter, Lea, two years later. They broke up two years after that.
