Elon Musk spoke out on Twitter about the premiere of the first two episodes of “The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power.” The billionaire didn’t like the male characters, whom he called “cowards and jerks.” Elon Musk felt that the writer is “Tolkien is turning in his grave” because of the film adaptation.
At the same time, Elon Musk noted that only Galadriel seemed to him to be a well-written character. She was shown on the screen as “brave, smart, and nice”. The billionaire also ridiculed the one-size-fits-all responses to his disgruntled messages and said that he was under massive attack by bots.

Also, on Amazon’s digital platform, the ability to rate the show was frozen for 72 hours after the premiere of “The Rings of Power.” The management of the portal explained it as a “fight against trolls”. Now the project rating on IMDb is 6.8 points and has a User Rating of 1.9 on Metacritic.
Each of the first two episodes of “The Rings of Power” was just over an hour long. The director at the start of the first season was Juan Antonio Bayona, who worked on the films “Shelter” and “Jurassic World 2”.
