70-year-old Hollywood actor Bruce Willis, who suffers from frontotemporal dementia (FTD), can no longer speak or read and walk without assistance and requires constant care, according to The Economic Times.
Willis retired from his film career in 2022 after being initially diagnosed with aphasia, a condition that affects communication.
However, in early 2023, Bruce Willis’ family informed the media that his condition had progressed to FTD—a more severe neurological disorder that gradually destroys speech, motor functions, and behavior.
The actor is unable to remember significant moments of his life, including his film career, and is constantly surrounded by his loving family.

After learning of his diagnosis, Bruce Willis sold most of his luxury real estate to provide for his family. He has three adult daughters from his marriage to Demi Moore and two minor daughters with his current wife, Emma Heming.
Emma has repeatedly shared with her followers how difficult it is to cope with her husband’s illness and does not hide how challenging it has been. However, both she and Demi Moore are doing their best to surround the actor with love and care.
